Central Europe’s biggest indoor dance event Transmission will come back to Prague’s O2 arena again Saturday the 25th of October with a new visual show ‘Seven Sins’ to captivate once more thousands of electronic dance music lovers. Transmission ‘Seven Sins’ will be a confrontation with the temptations of life, the Seven Sins; Lust, Laziness, Gluttony, Anger, Greed, Jealousy and Vanity.
Experience thousands of people sharing the feeling of togetherness and dance to the beats in an ocean of lights surrounded by pyro effects and spectacular laser shows that guaranteed will exceed your expectations.
To match the theme and Line Up as well fulfilling the wishes of the visitors (based on a poll done at the Transmission FB page) the line up consists out of seven artists (plus the warm up DJ) and is representing more the uplifting trance sound combined with tech trance, progressive trance and the big room sound. MARKUS SCHULZ:
The legend of Transmission who brings us every year together with his creative and unique sound is coming back to Prague to do what he does ooh so well, rocking the crowd hard. Outrageous bass-lines, nasty drops, delicious beats, and juicy sounds. Full of passion and determination behind the decks for just one reason, to give it every time all he’s got to please the crowd, Markus always creates and delivers smashing sets. World wide Markus Schulz is celebrated as one of the biggest and most famous EDM stars and his success and popularity is not only reflected by playing weekly for tens of thousands of fans but also by his Global DJ broadcast radio show which attracts millions of listeners world wide. Honored as we are to have him back again to celebrate his 10th jubilee and to take over control of Prague’s o2 arena 25th of October, once more you’ll be able to see, hear, and enjoy the wonderful sounds of the legend, Markus Schulz.
JOHN O’CALLAGHAN:
If anyone has kept the sounds of uplifting alive throughout the years, it’s Irish producer/DJ John O’Callaghan (JOC). Pushing the boundaries of musical genres in ways, JOC always showcases a true diversity in his sound. JOC hasn’t only got a soft spot for the harder sounds of trance music, he also knows how to handle them. JOC is a producer/DJ with an internationally highly respected name in the world of Electronic music who’s sound is more in-demand today that it ever has been. GIUSEPPE OTTAVIANI:
Personifying trance music’s energy in both approach and output, Italy’s Giuseppe Ottaviani has long been recognized as one of the genre’s most respected and prolific merchants. From his earliest studio work he has established himself as a benchmark for eminent trance. Drawing on his vast audio repertoire, Giuseppe found himself in the unique position of being able to branch away from the traditional mixer/turntables set-up and his boundary-breaking in-concert experience Giuseppe Ottaviani Live was born. This concept gives a more visually immersive ‘club-concert’ experience and has put hundreds of thousands of hands in the air and feet on the floor at the world’s best-known EDM festivals. ALEX M.O.R.P.H:
As one of the leading DJs/producers in the global dance music scene, Alex M.O.R.P.H.’s popularity is on the rise like never before, With outstanding releases like “An Angel’s Love”, “Walk the Edge“ or “Sunset Boulevard” and remixes/co-ops with and for artists like Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Within Temptation, Faithless, Gareth Emery, Dash Berlin, Protoculture and many more, he’s always one step ahead in quality and energetic like noone else. Through various producer aliases, Alex M.O.R.P.H. was able to establish and redefine himself and his sound again and again, delivering a big palette of highly respected quality productions and remixes over the years. BRYAN KEARNEY:
The Irish DJ and producer Bryan Kearney will join forces at Transmission. Bryan Kearny known for his uplifting melodies and banging beats is a DJ/Producer with over 10 years experience who likes to do things differently and loves to surprise the crowd across the globe with his uplifting high energy DJ sets. Besides Dj-ing Bryan Kearney also has an active production career and produced hits such as ‘We will never die’ , ‘Mexican Rave’, and ‘Proper Order’ (With Sneijder) to name just a few. Bryan Kearney’s current demand is at an all-time high and we are looking forward to welcome him at Transmission in Prague.
PHOTOGRAPHER:
DJ and producer Photographer started to make waves in the Trance scene since 2010 with producing tracks such as ’Take off’ and ‘Highway’. By the end of 2012 Photographer produced his massive track ‘Airport’ a track which was played and heavenly supported by all the greats in the trance scene and reached the nr 2 spot at Beatport. Being the man to watch in 2013, Photographer was also asked by Armin van Buuren to remix his track ‘Who is afraid of 138’ As no surprise, his remix took the world by Storm and reached within a few days after release the nr.1 spot at the Beatport trance chart. Ever since Photographer is in high demand and can be seen as one of the fastest growing international trance DJ’s. Undeniable a genius in the studio, Photographer has translated his technical talents and popular sound into delivering uplifting DJ sets all around the world as well. Proud to introduce to you and for the first time in the Czech Republic, get ready for some serious uplifting beats and ‘don’t be afraid of 138’ by Photographer.
THOMAS COASTLINE: (Warm Up DJ)
The talented Czech trance DJ and producer Thomas Coastline will be the warm up DJ. Thomas Coastline started DJ’ing and producing when he was 16 years young and had his break through in 2008 with his track ‘After Hour’ which was a track, Armin van Buuren selected to play is his weekly radio show ‘A State of Trance’. Since then many more tracks have followed with highlights such as his track ‘Love Victims’ which was selected by Ministry of Sound to be included in the mix compilation ‘Trance Awards’ and his track ‘Ultra light’ to be selected by ‘Blackhole recordings to include in the Search of Sunrise 9 compilation. Besides DJ’ing and producing Thomas Coastline has his own radio show at afterhours.fm. For Transmission, Thomas Coastline will prepare a special warm up set to get you ready and in the right mood for the start of Transmission.
TRANSMIX BY RANK 1:
Always one of the highlights at Transmission is the Transmix, a pre-recorded mix with well known trance classics, filled with special effects and pyro, combined with a spectacular laser show. This year’s Transmix will be composed by Rank1.
VISION IMPOSSIBLE:
Another highlight at Transmission always is the Vjing of the Dutch award winning VJ team Vision Impossible, who just like every other year create all the show/intro movies for all the artists and are responsible for the live visuals during the event. Vision Impossible was founded in 2000, when Martijn Adema, Berry van Dijk and Ruben Langedijk teamed up. Since then things have moved fast and every show takes them one step closer to their goal – to create the ultimate visual experience. Nowadays, the Vision Impossible studio hosts a growing and professional team where friendship and the love for music and art events remain the most important values
