Pet Shop Boys sa zadovoljstvom najavljuju izlazak ‘Catalogue: 1985-2012’, seriju reizdanja svih svojih albuma objavljenih za Parlophone (Dancing Bear za Hrvatsku): Ovu definitivnu ediciju reizdanja pratit će remasterirani ‘Further listening’ albumi sadržani od visoko kvalitetnih bonus pjesama i demo materijala nastalih u istom periodu kao i ‘’glavni’’ albumi te od pjesama koje su remiksirali sami Pet Shop Boys. Većina tih pjesama bit će objavljeno po prvi put. Sa svakim albumom dolazi i opsežna knjižica u kojoj Neil Tennant i Chris Lowe raspravljaju svaku pjesmu. Osim toga svaka knjižica bit će dopunjena brojnim arhivskim fotografijama. A, cijeli taj projekt dizajnirao je Farrow, dizajnerski studio zaslužan z prepoznatljive a vizuale na pet Shop Boys albumima iz 80-ih i 90-ih godina.

Ova serija reizdanja započet će 28. srpnja objavom triju albuma koja nose tri različita PSB zvuka: ‘Nightlife’, ‘Release’ i ‘Fundamental’.

‘Nightlife’ je tamno orkestrirana suradnja s producentima Rollo, Craig Armstrong i David Morales, originalno objavljen 1999. godine, ovo reizdanje dolazi u paketu s dva ‘Further listening’ CD-a koja uključuju ekskluzivne, neobjavljene pjesme kao što su ‘Tall thin men’ and ‘For all of us’ te demo verzije ‘Vampires’, ‘Call me old-fashioned’ i ‘Radiophonic’.

Drugo remasterirano reizdanje bit će album ‘Release’ na kojem gostuje Johnny Marr, ex gitarist grupe The Smiths. Album je ušao u top 10 na britansku ljestvicu albuma, a originalno je objavljen 2002. godine. On također stiže u društvu dodatnih materijala koji uključuju i neobjavljene pjesme ‘Motoring’, ‘The night is a time to explore who you are’, ‘Run, girl, run’ i ‘Reunion’, kao i nikada objavljene verzije pjesama ‘A powerful friend’ i ‘If looks could kill’ snimane za session Johna Peel te do sad neobjavljen cover pjesme Gilberta O’Sullivana ‘Alone Again’ u kojoj, naravno, gostuje Elton John.

Uz remasterirane originale bit će tu i ‘Further listening’ album s ukupno 22 trake dodatnog materijala među kojima su razni demosi te neobjavljene pjesme poput Ring road’, ‘One-way street’ i ‘Dancing in the dusk’, te do sad neizdani razni mixevi i remixevi.
